It is with great sadness that I report that racer Randy Renfrow was taken off life-support a few minutes ago and died shortly there after.

Renfrow was a multi-time AMA champion, a great supporter of racing and a valued member of the racing family. Renfrow was perhaps the most respected man in the AMA Superbike paddock. To say that he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him is the understatement of all time.

Shawn Renfrow, younger brother of Randy, thanked the racing community for their support of Randy, the family and everyone involoved in this tragic situation. Funeral arrangements are pending.
