Wet Session with top ten times listed.

Updated and corrected: The WSC class of 2005 arrived at the Losail International circuit, in Doha early this morning (local time) to find dark clouds massing overhead, and the threat of rain was to materialise into reality.

The second Official Qualifying session, to set the grid for Superpole later today (Friday), was interrupted with rain—drizzle falling throughout the first 41 minutes of the 60 minute session.

After the break the riders did get back on track and attempted to better their Thursday times, but to no avail, as the track remained damp; with some sitting water in places.

The first round of the 2005 season, taking place in the normally pleasant climes of Qatar, will see the Superpole running order set from yesterday's first qualifying times, which, of course, saw Alstare Suzuki Corona man and 1996 World Champion, Troy Corser, on provisional pole.

A word on the only American in the field seems fitting. Ben Bostrom's season has gotten off to a disastrous start after the Californian destroyed his only race ready bike during yesterday's Qualifying session (update: the crashed bike will be revived!).

Full times from both hour long sessions, Free Practice two and Superpole, will be posted here, barring climactic disaster or other such afternoon halting drama.
