When is a two-year contract not a two-year contract? Well, when things don't go well, presumably. American Ben Bostrom signed a two-year deal with Renegade Honda this year, but by the sounds of it, Benny won't be riding there next year.
How come? Listen, we wanted to be a lawyer, okay? It's just that the seemingly insignificant issue of no high school diploma raised its ugly mug and William Mitchell sent us packing. So, who knows? It's probably some issue with "an option clause" or "eminent domain" or "the crowd of astonishingly-beautiful Italian chicks following him everywhere proved to be too much of a distraction for the team".
Seriously, Ben Bostrom won't be riding for Renegade Honda next year and is at this time without a contract for 2006. He wants to stay in World Superbike so hang tight to see what's going to shake out.
Ben said he's going to call the Soup office when he hits Stateside. Of course he won't remember to do so, but without putting too fine a point on it, we won't feel alone sitting by the phone waiting for him to call. Right girls?
