Mat Mladin smoked the field at the Laguna Seca Superbike race and was never really challenged as he topped Ben Spies and Aaron Yates.

Mladin made quick work of the work of the race and blasted away from Spies and the field to win AMA Superbike race number 68.

Mat, wearing a Bob Hannah tribute helmet, celebrated excitedly on the cool-off lap.

Yates topped Jamie Hacking for the third spot and made it an all-Suzuki podium.
