Michael Jordan Motorsports To Ride Suzuki in American Superbike Class
CHICAGO (February XX, 2010) - Michael Jordan Motor Sports riders will compete in the upcoming season's AMA Pro Racing American Superbike class aboard the 2010 Suzuki GSX-R 1000 machinery. Aaron Yates and Jake Zemke, riding for the team's Jordan Brand and National Guard sponsored entries respectively, will pilot the bikes.
"Suzuki has proven that the GSX-R is still the bike to campaign in Superbike," said Kreig Robinson, Michael Jordan Motorsports Vice President of Corporate Relations. "Gemini Racing and our team have done a great deal of development in order to get the most out of the motorcycle for racing. Suzuki provides us with an excellent platform."
Suzuki has been a partner of Michael Jordan Motor Sports since 2005, providing motorcycles and OEM parts.

Michael Jordan Motor Sports Signs Jake Zemke
Zemke Will Ride National Guard Entry in 2010 AMA Superbike Series
CHICAGO (February XX, 2010) - The National Guard and Michael Jordan Motor Sports will field an American Superbike entry piloted by 2008 Formula Xtreme Champion and the 2006 Daytona 200 Winner Jake Zemke in the 2010 AMA Pro Racing National Guard Superbike Championship series.
"We're extremely proud to welcome Jake Zemke to our organization," said Kreig Robinson, Michael Jordan Motor Sports Vice President of Corporate Relations. "It's not often that champions become available. We have always admired Jake. He's a fan favorite and always professional."
Zemke, 34, finished sixth overall in the 2009 Daytona Sportbike Championships, visiting the second step of the podium twice and making 14 top ten appearances. He is a native of California, and lives with his wife, Rebecca, and their three children, in Paso Robles.
MJMS is also pleased to announce its continued partnership with the National Guard to field a second AMA Pro Racing Superbike team in 2010. "The National Guard is excited and proud to continue its relationship with Michael Jordan Motor Sports. Jake Zemke is sure to bring a new dynamic to the team, as he will be a favored contender for the championship. He also carries with him the honor of representing over 360,000 members of the National Guard, faithfully serving our great nation," said Sgt. Aaron Yates to Return to Michael Jordan Motor Sports Team in 2010
CHICAGO (February XX, 2010) - Michael Jordan Motor Sports is pleased to announce that five-time AMA Champion Aaron Yates will return to the team, piloting an entry in the 2010 AMA Pro Racing National Guard American Superbike Championship series.
Yates joined the Michael Jordan Motor Sports team for the 2007 racing season, He has won titles in the 1000 cc Superstock, 600 cc Supersport, 750 cc Supersport and SuperTeams classes. In 2009, Yates reached the podium six times, finishing as high as second in the American Superbike class. The Georgia native has also earned 43 AMA National victories, four wins in the AMA SuperTwins (Harley-Davidson 883) class and four wins in AMA Super-Teams Endurance competition. Yates, who clinched the 2008 AMA Superstock Championship, earned his 18th Superstock win, surpassing former Jordan Suzuki rider Jason Pridmore as the second winningest rider in class history.
"We consider Aaron a franchise member of this organization," said Kreig Robinson, Michael Jordan Motor Sports Vice President of Corporate Relations. "Aaron turns in consistent performances year after year, making him an easy choice for our Superbike program. Yates lives in Milledgeville, GA with his wife, Heather, and their children, Ashton and Skyla Maria.
