Anglo-American rider John Hopkins may return to the British Superbike Championship in 2014 with Tyco Suzuki, according to British reports.
Former MotoGP Suzuki and Kawasaki factory rider Hopkins has battled numerous injuries - especially his hip and hand - for the last few seasons, taking off all of 2013 to heal. He raced in a limited schedule in 2012 for Crescent Suzuki in World Superbike.
Hopkins' last full season came in 2011 for Crescent Suzuki in BSB, when he lost the title by two points to Tommy Hill. Hopkins won five races that season.
It's believed both Tyco Suzuki riders from 2013 - Josh Brookes and American PJ Jacobsen - are leaving the team. Jacobsen tested a Mahi Kawasaki World Supersport last week at Jerez and is expected to climb to that series in 2014.
