Misano World Superbike Images: Spies & Rea Split Wins
images by Graeme Brown

Jamie Hacking didn't have a great weekend at Misano in his fill-in ride. Hacking will stay in Europe and race Donington next weekend as well. He ran in fifth place for a while in race one but waited too long to make the swap.

Max Biaggi finished outside the top ten in the first race and just within it in the second.

American Ben Spies saw his string of pole positions stopped, but a first race win put it right.

Max Neukirchner had a sponsor-pleasing cast on his leg at Misano.

A respectable Misano crowd watch the Pride of the British empire, Jon Rea lap past.

Rea leads Michel Fabrizio and Haga.

'Look Valentino, these bikes come with headlights before they are made into race bikes.'

Lap time averaging in WSBK shows there are more umbrella girls in WSBK than any other World Superbike series today.
