By '90 the Cagiva would actually lap Laguna with enough speed and regularity so it wasn't a complete embarrassment.

The '90 grid was pretty slim in terms of bikes, but with Schwantz and Rainey lining up you knew there was going to be a race. There were only ten finishers.
