Why Brainerd Isn't On The 2025 MotoRainey Schedule
27. Over three days.
You'd think that the unsafe racetrack at Brainerd International Raceway would be enough to get the track bounced from the schedule, but the track itself had very little to do with it being removed from the '25 schedule.

Brainerd isn't on the 2025 schedule because the big OEMs sent their demo fleet trucks to the Brainerd round for spectators to view and take test rides on new KTM/Kawasaki etc bikes throughout the weekend. At some rounds (Laguna Seca) hundreds of test rides are given every day.

Two manufacturers reported, after the Brainerd race, that only 27 test rides were given over 3 full days at Brainerd.

27. Over three days.

That's a big reason why.

MotoRainey made a big investment in trying to grow the Brainerd event. Largely the track might be safe enough for club racing but it's not safe enough to pass a circa 2005 AMA Superbike safety inspection.
