1990s AMA Superbike rider Takahiro "Tiger" Sohwa is dead.

According to Japanese news reports, Sohwa, who raced for the Muzzy Kawasaki and Fast by Ferracci Superbike teams in AMA Superbike during the 1990s, apparently took his own life by jumping off a building in Kobe, Japan.

Sohwa was 58 years old.
