We're certainly delving deep into some obscure information this afternoon on the Soup, but it must be said that the statement that the Hayden brothers appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno last night was the "first time a roadracer" appeared on the long-running and popular late-night television program simply isn't true.

In 1979, female motorcycle roadracer Carter Aslop (from Charles City, VA) was a guest on the The Tonight Show, then hosted by Johnny Carson.

Soup reader Jeff Fletcher went so far as to find an official summary of her guest appearance on the late Carson's web site.
