In racing the promotional value of stickers seems to be waning. Hence, we look at some classic examples from days gone by. Here: Honda's Spa victory decal from July 4, 1982 when Freddie Spencer became the youngest-ever 500cc race winner.

The late Jack Findlay's decal. He is the subject of a song 'Blues for Findlay' on the early '70s 'Continental Circus' album. Often confused with Dutch rider Jack Middelburg, Findlay went on to become Grand Prix's Technical Director.
