This past April, at the Austin MotoGP event, I conducted a small poll.

I asked a bunch of professional umbrella girls at the race if, as adults, they had ever had to wash their own car.

Very photogenic women in their 20s live a life that you and I will never fathom. Nearly all of them said, no, they had never washed their own car, as adults. Most added that they had never used their own money to wash their car, either.

One told a horror story of going to an automatic car wash and having to use her own credit card in order to have her car washed.
