For the record: in dirt track this is an excellent way to wake up, or regain consciousness, on the ground wondering what planet you're on. Never walk up, whip out a tape measure and start measuring a bike in dirt track without asking permission first. It's in the rule book. Look it up.
The bike was built by dirt track mad scientist Rick Howerton. It is a KTM-powered Howerton special that he may race or build to sell.

Oh, I guess they did water the track. Jared Mees was both a rider and event promoter at Springfield, which, with him vying for the Grand National title made a lot of people go "hmmmmm." Mees won the title.

Brandon Robinson's crew take an oath of the left turn before every session. Dirt track has more curses and superstitions than Rossi's mom.

Dallas is quite pleased because in 2024 two TT races will be the final races on the AFT schedule.

In 20 years when Dallas is cemented as one of the greatest riders to ever race American dirt track, 2023 will be just a wry smile.
