Rookie Expert Scott Parker is joined by Wayne Rainey at the Santa Fe Park National TT outside of Chicago. At the time Harley-Davidson did not make a lightweight bike for TT events. Scott has his XR wide open and going sideways entering the back straight out of the infield. Wayne, on the other hand, has the wheels of the 50 pound lighter Yamaha in line driving forward. The crowd loved Scott's effort on the XR. Steve Eklund won the event on a Yamaha similar to Wayne's.
