Yesterday It Was A Movie. Today the Go-Show Is In Hospice?
"the videos of Anthony being distributed during what has been an extremely troubled period of his life are deeply concerning"
Yesterday Anthony Gobert's people posted a disturbing preview of an upcoming film (produced by unknown persons) on the racing career of "The Go-Show". The clip, which used official and licensed footage from Gobert's WSBK and MotoGP career seemed to be a preview of an upcoming film of some sort.

Today, the Gobert family released a statement regarding Anthony which read:

It is with sadness that we have to announce that Anthony is currently hospitalised in palliative care and is in the final stages of his life following a short illness – please be aware that we will provide any available updates in due course. During this difficult time, the videos of Anthony being distributed during what has been an extremely troubled period of his life are deeply concerning, however, on behalf of Anthony, we must thank his many supporters from throughout his racing career.

The last time fan favorite Gobert surfaced, his brother Aaron was trying to raise money on-line to search for the homeless and possibly incarcerated Anthony on Australia's Gold Coast. Aaron's plea for cash included soliciting donations so he could buy a car because he apparently didn't have one. At that time, other members of the Gobert family said privately that they wanted no part of Aaron's endeavor.

Questions put to the Gobert family today regarding why on earth a preview of a movie they, too, find "deeply concerning" was posted on Anthony Gobert's official page where he talks about "makin' a racin' comeback" when he was purportedly in hospice have not been answered.
